Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Lemon (“Lemon,” the “App,” or the “Service”), provided and operated by Hey Lemon Computing, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Hey Lemon Computing,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lemon. By accessing or using Lemon, you agree to be bound by these Terms and confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your information, including the storage of voice audio recordings and screenshots, their use to improve the Service, and how you can opt out by emailing us at support@heylemon.ai.

2. Your Account

To use Lemon, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information for your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Do not share your credentials or give others access to your account, and notify us immediately at support@heylemon.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. License

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use Lemon for personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Circumvent security, access controls, or usage limits
• Use Lemon to violate applicable laws or regulations
• Use Lemon to surveil, spy on, or collect information about others without consent
• Misuse screen visibility or system-level features
• Use Lemon or its outputs to develop, train, or improve any competing AI or machine learning model
• Access or create accounts by any means other than our publicly supported interfaces (for example, scraping or bulk account creation)

4. Your Content & AI Outputs

A. Your content stays yours.You retain all ownership rights in the content you submit to Lemon, including voice audio, screenshots, text, and other materials (“Inputs”). So that we can operate the Service, you grant Hey Lemon Computing, and third-party service providers acting on our behalf, a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, access, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and store your Inputs and the content Lemon generates for you, solely for the limited purpose of providing, securing, and, subject to your settings described in the Privacy Policy, improving the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license and that your content does not violate the law or the rights of any third party.

B. Outputs.Lemon uses artificial intelligence features to generate outputs based on your Inputs (“Outputs”). As between you and Hey Lemon Computing, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you own your Outputs, and we assign to you our right, title, and interest, if any, in them. Due to the nature of AI, Outputs may not be unique, and similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users; you have no rights in outputs generated for others.

C. Product improvement & model training.Your stored audio recordings and screenshots may be used to improve Lemon, including training Lemon’s AI models, as described in the Privacy Policy. You may opt out of these uses at any time by emailing us at support@heylemon.ai. Google user data and other third-party integration source data are never used for improvement or training.

5. Screen Visibility & Contextual Access

When explicitly activated by you, Lemon may access visible portions of your screen to determine context, identify input fields, or act on highlighted content.

• Screenshots are captured only in response to user-initiated actions
• Screenshots are stored as described in the Privacy Policy and may be used to improve the Service unless you opt out by emailing us at support@heylemon.ai
• You may opt out of data retention or request deletion of stored data at any time by emailing us at support@heylemon.ai

6. Assistant Content, Background Tasks & Stored Outputs

When you use Lemon’s assistant or background features, Lemon may generate and store user-visible outputs, including:

• Assistant responses
• Generated text or images
• Task results, summaries, or conversation history

These outputs, along with voice audio recordings and screenshots as described in the Privacy Policy, are retained until you opt out of data retention or request account deletion by emailing us at support@heylemon.ai.

Third-party integration source data (including Google user data) is not stored.

7. Third-Party Integrations (OAuth)

7.1 Authorized Access Only

Lemon supports optional integrations with third-party services through OAuth.

Lemon:

• Accesses only data explicitly authorized through OAuth scopes
• Cannot access data outside granted permissions
• Acts only on user-initiated commands

Depending on the integration, Lemon may read, draft, create, modify, or retrieve content as explicitly requested by you.

7.2 No Automated or Background Actions

Lemon does not perform automated, scheduled, or background actions on connected third-party accounts. All actions occur solely in response to explicit user commands.

7.3 User Control & Revocation

You may revoke integration access at any time through:

• Third-party account permissions, and/or
• Lemon’s in-app integration settings

Revoking access immediately disables related features. Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we make no representations or warranties regarding them.

8. Use of Google User Data

Lemon’s access to Google user data is strictly limited to providing user-requested functionality.

Lemon:

• Does not store Gmail, Google Calendar, or Google Drive source data
• Processes Google data transiently to fulfill commands
• Does not use Google data for advertising, analytics, personalization, model training, or product improvement
• Does not transfer Google data except to fulfill user requests, comply with law, or protect service security

All access to Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

9. Third-Party AI Services

Lemon uses third-party AI and large language model providers to generate Outputs. Content shared with such providers is used solely to provide the requested functionality, is not used to train those providers’ models, and is not retained by those providers. Google user data shared with such providers to fulfill your request is never used to train their models. We are not responsible for the availability or operation of the Service to the extent it depends on third-party services.

10. Human Access to User Data

No human at Hey Lemon Computing may access user content except:

• With explicit user consent
• For authorized personnel with a legitimate operational need, in connection with the uses described in the Privacy Policy
• When required for security or abuse investigations
• When required by applicable law

Any permitted access is limited, logged, and audited.

11. Diagnostic Data Collection for Support

Where you report a technical issue that cannot be reproduced or diagnosed through standard support procedures, Lemon may collect and retain diagnostic information, including audio recordings, screenshots, or other technical data associated with the reported issue.

Such collection:

• Is used solely for support, debugging, and issue resolution purposes
• Is limited to authorized personnel with a legitimate operational need
• Is not used for advertising, marketing, or profiling
• Ends once the reported issue has been resolved or the support investigation concludes

12. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use Lemon only for lawful purposes
• Not use Lemon to record or transcribe another person’s speech, or to capture another person’s information visible on screen, without their consent where consent is required
• Obtain consent before processing others’ data
• Not bypass or interfere with safety, security, or detection mechanisms
• Not disrupt or degrade the Service

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of AI-generated Outputs before relying on or sharing them.

13. AI Service Disclaimer

Lemon uses third-party AI systems to generate responses and perform tasks.

LEMON MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OF ANY OUTPUTS. OUTPUTS MAY CONTAIN MATERIAL INACCURACIES EVEN WHERE THEY APPEAR DETAILED OR SPECIFIC, AND MAY NOT REFLECT CORRECT, CURRENT, OR COMPLETE INFORMATION. DO NOT RELY ON OUTPUTS WITHOUT INDEPENDENTLY VERIFYING THEM. Lemon does not provide legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. You use all Outputs at your own discretion and risk.

14. Account Deletion & Data Retention Opt-Out

You may request account deletion, or opt out of data retention while keeping your account, at any time by emailing us at support@heylemon.ai.

Upon account deletion:

• Authentication credentials and OAuth tokens are permanently removed
• Stored assistant content and task history are deleted
• Stored voice audio recordings and screenshots are deleted
• No third-party integration source data persists (none is stored)

Upon a data retention opt-out, stored voice audio recordings, screenshots, and related stored data are deleted, and your account remains active.

15. Warranty Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LEMON AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” AND WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR OUTPUTS WILL BE TIMELY, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT THEY WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms affects statutory rights that cannot be waived.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Hey Lemon Computing is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service or any Outputs
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim

If you are a consumer habitually residing in the EEA or UK, we remain liable as required by statutory provisions for intent and gross negligence, and nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

17. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hey Lemon Computing and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against all damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your content, including your Inputs; or (c) your violation of applicable laws or the rights of any third party in connection with your use of the Service. This obligation does not apply to the extent directly caused by our breach of these Terms or, where you are an EEA/UK consumer, to consequences that were not reasonably foreseeable.

18. Termination

You may stop using Lemon at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to Lemon if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse or attempt to bypass system protections
• You pose a security, legal, or compliance risk
• Required by law or regulatory authority

Upon termination, your license to use Lemon immediately ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — survive.

19. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

A. Informal resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to first email us at support@heylemon.ai with a description of the dispute so we can attempt to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve it within sixty (60) days, either party may bring a formal proceeding.

B. Governing law and venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding its conflict of laws principles. Any judicial proceeding will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts, and both parties consent to venue and personal jurisdiction there. If you reside in a country whose laws entitle you to bring disputes in your local courts or under your local law, this paragraph does not override those requirements.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the current version on this page. If a change meaningfully reduces your rights, we will notify you (for example, by email or a prominent in-App notice), and the notice may designate a reasonable period after which the new terms take effect. Changes will not apply retroactively. Continued use of Lemon after changes take effect constitutes acceptance; if you disagree with a change, you must stop using the Service.

21. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Hey Lemon Computing regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on this subject. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours to an affiliate or successor in interest. We welcome feedback on the Service and may use it without obligation to you.
